Towne Lake is a hidden gem located eleven miles east of downtown Montgomery, Alabama. Conveniently located just north of the Mitylene exit (Exit #11) of Interstate 85, we are a short distance away from the fastest-growing area of east Montgomery - yet we still maintain the quiet neighborhood setting so desirable to come home to.
There are over 400 residences located within Towne Lake, wrapped around the Arrowhead Country Club golf course and lakes. Country club amenities include an 18 hole championship golf course with a fully stocked pro shop, tennis courts, swimming pool, men's sauna, full men's and ladies' locker rooms, golf practice facility, and fitness room. We are located just minutes away from The Shoppes at Eastchase, and Auburn University Montgomery, with easy access to I-85, Towne Lake truly is in the heart of east Montgomery.
New Walking Path Completed
We have now completed the first stage of the planned enhancements to the Gazebo area we discussed at the the July General Meeting. The walkway to the gazebo now makes a complete loop, allowing walkers to circle the lower pond, cross the dam, walk through the gazebo and now continue around the other side of the pond. Next will be the addition of several benches along this walkway - and trash cans to ensure we keep our neighborhood clean - plus a bench at the city pond. Additionally we will be adding new landscaping along the walkway, with irrigation to keep everything looking good.

Neighborhod News Group Site
We invite all Towne Lake Homeowners to join our Neighborhood News site. We began this group site as a Neighborhood Watch area, but over the last two years it has become much more than that. Neighbors are able to get information quickly, ask questions, get help with lost pets, and voice their concerns. If you have not already joined, please join now.

Driving Directions
The Towne Lake subdivision is located conveniently off Interstate 85, at exit #11.
From Birmingham: Coming south down Interstate 65 you will take the exit to Interstate 85 North (Atlanta) in the center of downtown Montgomery. Interstate 85 begins at this point, so you are at mile zero. Proceed eleven miles and take exit #11 (Mitylene). Turn left at the bottom of the exit, go through the light on the other side of the interstate, then take the first right turn onto TechnaCenter Drive. Entrances into Towne Lake are the next four left turns.
From Georgia: Interstate 85 begins counting down from mile seventy at the Georgia border. Continue south down Interstate 85 until you reach Exit #11 (Mitylene). Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp then take the first, immediate, right turn onto TechnaCenter Drive. Entrances into Towne Lake are the next four left turns.
From Mobile: Coming north on Interstate 65 you will take the exit to Interstate 85 North (Atlanta) in the center of downtown Montgomery. Interstate 85 begins at this point, so you are at mile zero. Proceed eleven miles and take exit #11 (Mitylene). Turn left at the bottom of the exit, go through the light on the other side of the interstate, then take the first right turn onto TechnaCenter Drive. Entrances into Towne Lake are the next four left turns.
